Biosand Water Filters Project

Bolivian Quaker Youth and the water crisis. Climate change has had a large impact over the last 20 years in Bolivia. Recently young Friends have been building biosand water filters for providing clean and safe water to Bolivians who do not have water due to extreme droughts and flooding. Each biosand filter costs $50, which can be used by two or three families since it provides 72 liters per day.
